Student Employment

If you are a visa student studying on a full-time course of more than six months it may be possible for you to work for up to 20 hours a week.
The Au-pair Scheme is open to single people aged 17 – 27 from selected countries.

Health
Students who come from a country that has a reciprocal health agreement with the UK will be entitled to free medical consultation but may need an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) Please apply for this and take out suitable medical insurance if necessary before you leave your country.
Please ask your ABLS school for advice if you have a medical or dental problem after you have arrived in the UK.
